The Durham Democratic Committee is a group of local residents who love Durham and believe that with community input it can become an even better place to live.
We focus on issues affecting the town of Durham (comprised of East Durham, Cornwallville, Oak Hill and Durham hamlets) as well as on state and national issues. Our objectives are to:

- Create a forum for discussion of local issues that will ensure that people are informed, get involved, and most importantly, actually vote.
- Get Democrats elected to the Durham Town Board as well as state and national offices.
